Terms of Service

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover the Dexy bots on Discord and Fluxer and the website at dexy.gg, including the dashboard (together, “Dexy”), run by the Dexy team (“we”, “us”). By adding Dexy to a server, using its commands or using the website, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Dexy.

Who can use Dexy

• You must be at least 13, or older if your country requires it, and allowed to use Discord or Fluxer.
• You must also follow the rules of the platform you use Dexy on: Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, or Fluxer's terms. Nothing in these terms lets you break them.

Server admins

• Whoever adds Dexy to a server, and its admins, are responsible for how Dexy is set up and used there: which modules are on, who can use the dashboard, and what its messages, logs, welcome images and rules say.
• Turning on features that record members (such as stats, logs or moderation) is your choice; let your members know, for example in your rules, and respect their requests about their data.
• Moderation, auto-mod and logs are tools that help you; decisions made with them are yours.

Acceptable use

Don't use Dexy to:

• harass, threaten, dox or spam anyone, or to target people outside the server's own moderation;
• collect or export people's data beyond what Dexy's features show, or to track people across servers;
• post or upload anything illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that you don't have the right to use (for example in welcome messages, uploaded backgrounds or your “About me”);
• break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around Dexy's limits, permissions or security, or run automated scripts against the bot, its commands or the website;
• exploit bugs, especially in the Economy, instead of reporting them.

The Economy

• Dexy coins, items, cosmetics, play XP and other Economy rewards are part of a game. They have no real-world value, can't be exchanged for money, and you don't own them: we license them to you to use inside Dexy.
• Selling, buying or trading coins, items or accounts for real money or anything outside Dexy isn't allowed.
• Chance games (such as coinflip and slots) use Dexy coins only and pay nothing outside Dexy. A server or our settings can switch them off.
• We may change prices, rewards and items to keep the game balanced, and may reset or remove coins and items gained by bugs, exploits, alt accounts or automation.
• Server points and accolades that a server sets up are that server's; its admins can change them.

What you add

Text and images you add to Dexy (settings, messages, rules, uploaded backgrounds, your “About me”) stay yours. You give us permission to store, show and process them only to run Dexy for you and your server. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload. We may remove anything that breaks these terms.

Other services

Dexy works inside Discord and Fluxer and links to other sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them; their own terms apply.

Our name and work

The Dexy name, logo, bots, website, card designs and artwork are ours or used with permission. Using Dexy doesn't give you any rights to them beyond using Dexy as intended.

Copyright complaints

If something posted or uploaded through Dexy infringes your copyright, email support@dexy.gg with what it is, where it is and why it's yours, and we'll remove it if the complaint holds up.

Availability and changes to Dexy

We work to keep Dexy online and accurate, but it's provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Numbers depend on what Discord and Fluxer report and on the permissions Dexy has. We may add, change or remove features and modules, and may stop Dexy altogether; we'll give notice in the support server where we reasonably can.

Suspension and removal

We may limit, suspend or stop Dexy for a user or server that breaks these terms or puts Dexy or others at risk, including blocking a server from adding Dexy again. You can stop using Dexy at any time by removing it from your server, and delete your own data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or anything caused by how a server sets up or uses Dexy, by Discord or Fluxer, or by other users. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for Dexy in the 12 months before the claim (or nothing, if you only used free features). Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Your responsibility

If you break these terms or the law while using Dexy, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that follow, as far as the law allows.

The rest

• If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
• These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Dexy.
• If we don't enforce a part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• We may pass these terms and Dexy on to someone who takes over running it; you can't transfer your rights under them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change, and bigger changes are announced in the support server. Using Dexy after a change means you accept the new terms.
